Pregnancy stages and giving birth experience is still fresh in my mind. Still remember the excitement when I first found out that I was conceived and the joys of first time cuddle her in my arm.

Flash back…

  • She only shows herself on the 9 weeks pregnancy; straight away we can see her little heart beat. (William and I always wonder where she gone for sightseeing, appear so late in the womb)

Angel little hearbeat little heartbeat

  • 12 weeks - According to doctor there is not much space for her, not enough “water” in placenta but then she survive and living well. Eventually her little nest grew bigger.

  • 10 months - Still very attached to me, when she woke up she will start searching for me. She got her first tooth.

  • 11 months - She still likes to seat in her car seat, enjoy the rides and explore the surrounding. 3 teeth come together.

Our baby is God’s precious. God always bless her and take care of her even before she was born. She is a gift for William and I, we hope to care for her with wisdom from God.

She has gone through the ups and downs since she was born and all that happened is to make her stronger.

Happy, joyful, adventure and high determination is her strength. We pray that with her strength she will able to give joy to others around her and let Jesus light shine through her. :)
We celebrate her 1 year old with thanksgiving.

Money and Marriage

Money is one of the major causes of friction in a marriage, and it’s no wonder. Living in a world in which we are constantly worried about taking care of ourselves, it’s easy to forget that marriage is a commitment to forge a new life with another person. The lack of trust emerging from society has created prenuptial agreements and separate bank accounts. These undermine the commitment to a shared life with a spouse and are contrary to biblical teachings.

Whenever financial issues begin to get out of hand in a marriage, the first thing to do is to pray about them. There is no substitute for God’s answer. Second, you might try using a marriage counselor who is trained to help couples resolve issues diplomatically.

God’s Word says, “For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh” (Genesis 2:24). In Matthew 19:6, our Lord Jesus says, “So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.”

Ours, not mine
A husband’s and wife’s incomes in marriage should be merged and shared. Someone should be in charge of keeping a budget for the household, and whatever funds there are should be held mutually. This will require a lot of faith in the Lord, as well as in your spouse.

Conclusion
Don’t forget to ask God what He wants you to do with your money. He made you stewards over your finances for a purpose, so you should always remember to ask what His plans are. Many blessings can come from appropriate money management in marriage.

Stephanie’s note: My husband and I had a joined account, we will have our earnings to be transfer to that account. It will be for our household expenses and for bills payment. From the same account we also applied for a Debit Card, this card we will use it for groceries and buying our baby’s food, diapers and etc.

Found a lot of long lost friend through Facebook

I must give Facebook thumps up; through Facebook I found some of my long lost secondary school mate. It is so nice to catch up with them, after more than 13 years, some are about 20 years. Many of them are happily married, some already a kids. Heehee. All are successful in their career, in Malaysia and other country.

In Facebook, we refresh each other memories during school days, all the funny thing that we did and then we starts searching for more school mates that we already lost touch. When we compare our look before and after, it is obviously 100% different. Some from skinny to fat, some with hair but now ‘botak’, a quiet person but now a bit chatty and some remain unchanged.

It is great to flip through our old school year book and let the sweet memories put a smile on our face. But then, when I was thinking about it, I asked myself….why today I’m not a registered nurse? Sigh…long story…shall share the story later.

Facebook is awesome!! Sign up now and start searching. Then you will realize it is your BIG network that makes the world small. :)

I like to see nice furniture

Whenever I go shopping with hubby, we like to drop by furniture shop to check it out their sofas. We prefer leather seat and if possible two of the seat can recline. So we can chill and relax when watching TV or reading book.

Now is megasales period, a lot of discount furniture which we are tempted to buy. But then thinking about the space at home, it is not possible. We shall wait for the right time. ;)

How safe is a diet pills?

Anyone of you is taking diet pills? Can you let me know how safe diet pills are. I heard diet pills can have fast results but never heard of real life story of the side effect of it.

Maybe if intake diet pills I don’t have to force myself to do access exercise and don’t have to wait so long to slim down. But the problem with me is, I have difficulty to slim down my thighs. The more exercise I do, the bigger it will be. :(

Updates on Angel’s birthday

Angel’s birthday will be on 20 July. Few months ago I was scratching my head regards to planning her birthday.

Finally, we have decided not to have a party.

We will have a day outing…a educational day out. Tomorrow, we will be bring her to see different kind of ocean fish including turtles. That will be at The Aquaria KLCC in Kuala Lumpur city center.

Initially, I’ve plan a little adventure for Angel, that is to travel by train to the Aquaria but then William said it is difficult for her because our public transport is very crowded and not on time. Worry that we will miss the morning fish and turtle feeding session. So, changed of plan…we will be driving.

About birthday cake, I’m thinking to bake for her, will see how it goes.

That’s it, nothing fancy for her first year birthday but it gonna be a educational birthday treat for her. :)
I shall update more about it with more photos later.
