I want a smartphone!

My previous “clever” phone died and at that time I do not have a budget for a smartphone so bought a simple and cheap one.  It is a very simple phone that only good for calling and SMS.

Now that I have the extra budget to spend, I want a smartphone so that I can go online (checking emails, FB…) at any time.  I’ve been thinking about HTC HD7 smartphone, Samsung Galaxy or maybe iPhone.

What do you think, which one should I get?

Fungates System Kindergarten Year 2

Time past really fast, Naomi is in Year 2 kindergarten (5 years old) that uses Fungates System.  We are still very satisfied with the learning system and although this year there will be 2 new subjects – the Bahasa Malaysia and Science, we trust Naomi can cope with it especially with the proper teaching system.

During the Parent’s Orientation Day, we were briefed about everything from wrapping the books, uniforms, school bags, shoes, name tag, pick up tag and some of the teaching methods.  The orientation day was very well organized. Thumbs up!

Numbers, Activities and Science Book.

Additional Subject Bahasa Malaysia

I am very excited with the 2 new subjects, Science and Bahasa Malaysia.  I can’t wait to do some workbook at home for the new 2 subjects.  I believe practice makes perfect and another phase of challenges for me. :)

At the kindergarten, they practices Message Book.  Any messages for the parents will be in the book.  After reading it, we have to sign on it.  I think it is a very good idea and all Fungates Kindergarten uses the same kind of Message Book system.

Clean and neat uniform.

All Fungates Kindergarten has the same design of uniform and the only different thing is the school badge.

New Year 2012, Celebrate with ThanksGiving.

We celebrated out New Year of 2012 with plenty of Thanks Giving.  Although the road is rocky but we trust God for strength and comfort.  We trust God that he will keep us safe.

27.12.2011 - Dad was hospitalised because of stomach ulcer due to long term of taking Aspirin.  Thank God it is only a very small ulcer and because of this we now know that dad can’t take ASPIRIN anymore!

Dad at Melaka General Hospital

We thank God that our prayer and wish come true.  Dad was discharge on the 31st December 2011 and we all gets to celebrate New Year at home instead of at the hospital.

New Life Version (NLV)

14 if My people who are called by My name put away their pride and pray, and look for My face, and turn from their sinful ways, then I will hear from heaven. I will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

I thank our good Lord for being with us all the time.  Keeping us strong when we are facing tough moments, we thank our good Lord that all tears he turns into joy. Praise the Lord!

Flower To Cheer Up

Few weeks back a friend of mine got into an accident.  A car hit her from behind while she was cycling.  The injuries were bad and now she is still in the hospital.  Doctor need to monitor her but recovery is in the process and going through physiotherapies.  She is from Australia, so the incident really shocks her family and friends afar.

However, her day is always cheering up with pretty flowers send by friends and relatives from near and far.  For those that staying abroad they use Send Flowers services.  Nowadays, everything is going via online, so for people to send flower from other country to Malaysia is not a problem anymore.  Thumbs up for flower delivery services!
