16 years, we finally meet again

Thursday, September 10th, 2009

We were from the same school in JB (Sekolah Menengah Sri Tebrau) and also actively in Taekwondo sport.  Those days I used to call him “brother” because he was 1 year younger than me.  I used to go to his house to chill out and chat.

After I left JB (year 1993) and continue my study in KL, since than I never contact him (lost contact).  Until we found each other in Facebook (year 2009)!

We finally meet today after a few delays.  *Ahem* He is too busy and I’m too occupied. But despite all the delays, God really brings us together after so many years.

Although we are not staying in the same neighbourhood but our home is  only about 5 minutes away from each other.  Now that we know it is near, we can “lepak” more often. ;)   Should have a family gathering more often, his wife and 3 kids and my hubby and 1 kid!

Fruitful Visiting To Philip’s Home

Wednesday, September 9th, 2009

It was indeed a very fruitful and educational visit to Philip’s home.  Philip’s mom Chin Chuin is my good friend from same church, and now both Philip and Naomi also good buddy.

They watch and learn Brainy Baby 123 together, sharing toys, doing some colouring together and snacking home bake raisin and cinnamon roll (home made bread by Philip’s grandma).

William’s 40th Birthday!

Monday, January 5th, 2009

Today is hubby’s 40th birthday.  We celebrated yesterday at The Curve.  It was a surprise party and luncheon for him.  It took me about 3 months of planning plus searching for the right venue, help from Jestine to gather his buddies and help from Cheryl to coordinate the party before our arrival.

The surprise party was held at The Terrace, Royal Bintang Hotel at The Curve.  I invited 28 guests with kids but only 14 guests with kids came.  The rest of guest last minute cancel.

Guest arrival is at 12.30pm, some was late but it is ok because we arrived at the venue nearly 1pm (after church service).  The guest gave William a surprise shout, then blow candle and food time!  From 1pm until 3.30pm, hubby enjoyed chatting and eating with his friends.

Everyone having fun and fly a RC Helicopter there!  The balloons was a great stuff for the kids, they enjoyed their goodies and balloons.  Naomi had so much fun too!

Desa Park City: Naomi’s little adventure

She enjoys her walk in the park so much. She walks every where on the field, looking up the sky for birds and kites. Her favourite area is the 2 hills that she will walk up and down non-stop.  Serious, I don’t know where she got her energy from; maybe she got her climbing gene from me.  Heehee.

Every evening at Desa Park City, there will be people playing kites, adults and children enjoying flying kites.  We have 2 kites in the store room.  I think it is time for us to fly it too.  Surely Naomi will be excited about it.
