When Life Hurts…

Thursday, February 4th, 2010

…we always think that our life is a dark pit hole and no point of living on anymore.  At times when life hurts we will do things to forget about the painful moment.  Doing things like started drinking, smoking or flooded our life with works.  We just don’t care about our life anymore and it is meaningless.

But then all won’t works and the pain and broken heart is still there.

Personally, I have encounter many times of broken heart and I seek alcohol to get away the emotional pain.  That was many years ago before I encounter God again.  No matter what I do the emotional pain is there, until God changed my heart and heal it.

Only God able to heal the broken heart because he promise that HE will comfort and be close with us.

  • God comfort us by being close to us, by blessing us even we are in difficulty and promising us joy to come

Matthew 5:4 NIV -Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

  • If your HEART is Broken, call out His mighty name, He will come to rescue you and give you a new HEART.

Psalm 34:18 NIV – The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

So, if your heart is still broken and you lost your way, come to Jesus, HE will heal your broken heart and HE will lead you on the right path.

I know talking is easier then doing it but I am sharing the truth because I’ve been through it. You just need to allow Jesus to come to your heart and heal it.

Let this be your heart’s desire and pray this prayer:-

Dear Lord Jesus, I know I’m a sinner and I need your forgiveness.  Please come into my heart and heal my broken heart.  I invite you to come into my life and I want to trust you as Saviour and follow you as my Lord.

In Jesus name I pray, AMEN.

God Knows You By Name

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

In busy places and quiet places God knows you by name,
sees your heart,
understands your needs,
and keeps on taking care of you.

Blessed New Year 2010!

Christmas Greeting To Everyone!

Friday, December 4th, 2009

I received an email, a very early Christmas greeting email.  So I wanted to share with everyone here…

Jesus is Better than Santa

Santa lives at the North Pole.

JESUS is everywhere.

Santa rides in a sleigh

JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water.

Santa comes but once a year

JESUS is an ever present help.

Santa fills your stockings with goodies

JESUS supplies all your needs.

Santa comes down your chimney uninvited

JESUS stands at your door and knocks.. and then enters your heart.

You have to stand in line to see Santa

JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.

Santa lets you sit on his lap

JESUS lets you rest in His arms.

Santa doesn’t know your name, all he can say is “Hi little boy or girl, What’s your name?”

JESUS knew our name before we did. Not only does He know our name, He knows our address too. He knows our history and future and He even knows how many hairs are on our heads.

Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly

JESUS has a heart full of love.

All Santa can offer is HO HO HO

JESUS offers health, help and hope.

Santa says “You better not cry”

JESUS says “Cast all your cares on me for I care for you.

Santa’s little helpers make toys

JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes and builds mansions.

Santa may make you chuckle but

JESUS gives you joy that is your strength.

While Santa puts gifts under your tree

JESUS became our gift and died on the tree.

It’s obvious there is really no comparison.

We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about.

We need to put Christ back in Christmas.

Jesus is still the reason for the season.

Praying For Our Husband Financial

Thursday, October 1st, 2009

3 yearss ago, when we first planning to get married, we do not have the money for our wedding ceremony, at that time, we only have enough money to register our marriage.  But God is good to us, when HE brought William and me together, HE will never ever neglect us.

Thank God for his blessing, over flowing blessing.  William’s brother paid for all the expenses of the wedding dinner!  And HE continues to bless our marriage.

When I get to know that I was pregnant (year 2007), I know it is definitely God’s wonderful gift to us.  Back then we also do not have money to pay for the labour but we know that God will provide.  After the delivery of our little princess, William’s brother gave Naomi a gift, a gift that enough to pay for the labour/hospitalization cost.

We also do not need to buy milk powder because we receive gifts from the doctor and friends.  But thank God for breast milk and until today Naomi is still breast feeding.  We did not spend money to buy milk powder.

All in all, we tasted God’s provision in our financial.  I took a step of faith to resign from work and became a full time mother.  Having only one income in our household, there are a lot to worry about but I know it is the right decision we have made. We never lack of anything in financial, God provide to us and take care of us.

As a wife, I pray and pray that God will give hubby wisdom in running his business so that hubby will able to provide to this home also to be a testimonial to others.

Lord, we commit our finances to you, please be in charge of them and use it for YOUR purpose.  Make us a good stewards towards all the gifts YOU give us.  Show me how I can help increase our finances and not decrease them.  We are grateful for everything that YOU give us.

I pray that William will find it easy to give to YOU and others as YOU have instructed in YOUR word.  Lord, give hubby the wisdom to handle the money and use it wisely.  May he always be paid well for the work he does, may his money not be stolen, lost, destroyed or wasted.

Multiply his finances so that what he makes will go a long way.  I pray that hubby will not be anxious about finances but seek the kingdom first.

In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
