Planning for Angel’s 1st birthday

Wednesday, April 30th, 2008

20th July will be Angel’s first birthday. I started some scribble planning now because I know there is a lot of thing to consider. Yesterday, I have a small discussion with William about Angel’s party, we are still not sure whether to have a BIG party or just close family celebration.

Of course, I would prefer a BIG party for Angel, afterall is her first birthday! I am thinking of a pool party with Bee and Sunflower theme. Other kids can have fun at the pool also.

Here are list of scribbles…

  1. colour Bee invitation card
  2. birthday favors
  3. decoration
  4. face painting
  5. games
  6. food & beverage catering..Chinese or Western food?
  7. guestlist
  8. sponge cake or jelly cake?
  9. venue

Please give me some suggestions or share with me your experiences planning your first child first birthday.

Complain about Pampers Comfort

Friday, April 25th, 2008

Few months ago I bought 4 packets of Pampers Comfort during Jusco sales (RM28.90/packet). The last 2 packets are giving me problem. The diaper is leaking, silicon bits can be found at Angel’s butt area, of course, I am disappointed about its quality and stopped using it for a while.

Then on the 9th April I thought of complaining the product, so I called Procter & Gamble Pampers customer service toll free 1800 88 3957 (located in Manila, Philippine) but could not get through it using mobile phone, so I asked William to call and of course he managed to speak to the customer service. Few minutes later I received a call from them, they need to know more about the leakage, so after I explained to Stephanie (customer service), she keep on apologizing about the bad experience using Pampers Comfort.

For ‘good will’ purpose they will refund RM70.00 for that last 2 packets of Pampers Comfort. According to Stephanie (customer service personnal) I shall receive the cheque within 45days.

Well, today I received a registered mail and in it is the cheque amount of RM70.00!

Hooray!

Cineplex at home

Thursday, April 24th, 2008

William and I like to watch movie, before we have Angel almost every weekend we will go to the cinema but now it is not possible to bring Angel along if we are going to the cinema to watch movie. Unless they have a nursery room…

So, now we watch movie at home in our cosy little humble room with our desktop. Although it is a small lcd screen but we enjoyed our movies. Someday, we do hope when we have our own house, we want to have a home theater seating area. We can chill and relax, more spacious for 3 of us and more movies!

Here is Angel watching her favourite animation by peeping through her cot.

Angel can stand!

Tuesday, April 22nd, 2008

It is a surprise for me coz I don’t expect it. How she manage to push herself up? Well, I forgot to shut the drawer and it is just next to her cot, with her high determination again she try to reach it.

Then she does it again on her stroller when we are at Tesco. Aiyo, she is so adventurous!

Before she goes to bed, she show off her stunt again. (no worry, we are around, if we are not, we will pull the side cot all the way up)

Tuesday, April 22nd, 2008

Do you have used cisco that you do know what to do with it? No worry, there is a site that takes in all used hardware and software. Check it out tcdigital.com, they are the leading company that provides new and used computer and IT products.

So if you have those, don’t put it into waste bin, try to contact them for reuse or recycle it. Do your part for the environment, eh?
