New Year Eve:31Dec2008 Luncheon

Wednesday, December 31st, 2008

Every New Year eve or special celebration there will be lunch or dinner gathering.  This time I had a great time with my old time friends.  We went to the same secondary school in Johor Bahru and now each one of us have our own family and living here in Kuala Lumpur.  Of course we don’t only meet up for special celebration but do meet up for drinks and chat and I am hoping to do it more often. :P

We had our lunch at LamYeeYa Restaurant in 1Utama. This restaurant serves noodles, special white coffee beverages and snacks.  The food is nice but don’t expect good service.  ;)

Our Japan Side of Family

Monday, December 29th, 2008

Hubby’s brother Alex and family returned to Malaysia for holiday.  Alex my BIL and family been staying in Japan for more than 10 years but do return home to KL at least every year.  This time their trip from Japan to Malaysia is a bit rush so I quickly take this opportunity to take more photos of Naomi with them. Thank God, Naomi is friendly with them.  She allows Ken, Steve, uncle Alex and aunty Kumi hug and play with her. angel-with-alex-and-kumi angel-with-ken-and-steve

Christmas 2008

Thursday, December 25th, 2008

This year Christmas was our first time celebrating it together with Naomi.  Nothing fancy, no party or big celebration but a lot of gifts for her and thank God for this Christmas moment.

When she is older I’ll explain more details to her the true meaning of Christmas.  It is not just about decorating Christmas tree and giving or receiving gifts.  It more to that.

Oh ya, she likes watching VeggieTales-The Toy That Saved Christmas.  The story reminds children that Christmas isn’t about getting; it’s about giving.  It’s especially about a little baby named Jesus, who was the greatest gift of all!
