Day 6-11:Weaning Process Failed

Monday, March 30th, 2009

The weaning process failed terribly.  Naomi cries so much and is always unhappy and grumpy.  At night was worst, she cry so loud and disturbed the neighbours.  One of the neighbour asked her what happen to Naomi then hubby explain to them about the weaning process.

In fact during the weaning process I sleep less, worst than last time.  Naomi can cry for hours!

Furthermore I was not well for 2 days now, got high fever, difficulty breathing, cough and body ache.  So I will just feed Naomi to ensure she won’t disturb me and I can sleep longer hours.

Naomi seems to be happier and joyful when I breastfeed her.  Hmmm….

I got high fever but got hubby around to pamper me *wink*

Sunday, March 29th, 2009

I got a seriously high fever at 38.9c. Terrible migraine, feeling so cold and whole body aching.

Thank God hubby is around taking care of me. He took my temperature frequently to monitor it and put cold towel on my forehead. Massage my back and foot to sooth the ache.

He feed me water when I do not have energy to hold the cup and cook for Naomi and me.

Thank God for such a wonderful husband. :)

Day 2-5: Weaning

Tuesday, March 24th, 2009

A lot of changes we need to make and so much more to learn along the way. It is more to test n trial experience.

Whenever Naomi is tired and if we are on the road, I will be driving instead of hubby. We tried out a few times and it works! She never cry for “nen nen” (breast) but sit on her car seat or hubby’s lap and doze off.

Cutting off day time breastfeeding is still under control. When ever she wants “nen nen” I’ll feed her biscuits or fruits.

Night time is horrible, hubby and I could not handle it yet. She can cry for hours and won’t want to sleep unless I give her “nen nen”. So tired and sleepy I have no choice but to feed her “nen nen”. Less than 5 minute she will fall asleep. That was super fast!

Seriously, weaning moment is horrible! :(
