Pray For Our Husband, Don’t Nag
Tuesday, September 29th, 2009I’ve learn that nagging to hubby will always make things worst and he will not listen when nagged. Instead he will be a distant and hate it much with all the noisy nagging voices. At times I am mad because he would not listen to advise.
Instead of nagging to him, I learn to pray instead. I bring all problems to God and letting God handle him and prepare me with the right word to speak to him when the time comes. I have been doing that now and seeing positive changes in him. Of course at times I will nag but I also remind myself that I should stay quiet and be still and do not nag at hubby.
Honestly, no man like woman to nag, they will run away!
And nagging will be bad for me too because it will make me angry and tension.
So the best thing to do is to pray for hubby. Sometime God will not change hubby but change me, God will give me wisdom to handle things.
Lord please hear my prayers, please reveal to me any disobedience in my life, especially with regard to my husband. Show me if I am selfish, unloving, critical, angry, resentful, unforgiving or bitter toward him.
I confess it is a sin, please forgive me.
I pray that You would give William a desire to live in obedience to Your ways. Teach him to embrace the stretching pain of discipline and discipleship.
Make hubby a praising person, help him to hear your specific instructions and enable him to obey them. Lord, I pray you will break all bondage in him and set his heart on You.
In Jesus name I pray and ask, Amen.
