Pray For Our Husband, Don’t Nag

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009

I’ve learn that nagging to hubby will always make things worst and he will not listen when nagged.  Instead he will be a distant and hate it much with all the noisy nagging voices.  At times I am mad because he would not listen to advise.

Instead of nagging to him, I learn to pray instead.  I bring all problems to God and letting God handle him and prepare me with the right word to speak to him when the time comes.  I have been doing that now and seeing positive changes in him.  Of course at times I will nag but I also remind myself that I should stay quiet and be still and do not nag at hubby.

Honestly, no man like woman to nag, they will run away!

And nagging will be bad for me too because it will make me angry and tension.

So the best thing to do is to pray for hubby.  Sometime God will not change hubby but change me, God will give me wisdom to handle things.

Lord please hear my prayers, please reveal to me any disobedience in my life, especially with regard to my husband.  Show me if I am selfish, unloving, critical, angry, resentful, unforgiving or bitter toward him.

I confess it is a sin, please forgive me.

I pray that You would give William a desire to live in obedience to Your ways.  Teach him to embrace the stretching pain of discipline and discipleship.

Make hubby a praising person, help him to hear your specific instructions and enable him to obey them.  Lord, I pray you will break all bondage in him and set his heart on You.

In Jesus name I pray and ask, Amen.

Holiday Rentals

Thursday, September 24th, 2009

When travelling with family for a long holiday or a summer holiday, we will surely look for an apartment or condo for rental.  This is so easy as we can use the kitchen to cook simple food for the baby.  I remember one of my relatives bought a holiday home resort and when ever there is holiday, all the family will gather at the holiday home.  Surely, it is must more cheaper than renting hotel rooms.

If you fancy a luxury homes and a long holiday away from home, you can think of Panama City beach condo rentals. At their sites, you will find varieties of rentals that suit every individual.

Getting Insurance For A Purpose

Thursday, September 24th, 2009

There are too many type of insurance in the market.  If any of the agent talk to me about their product, I will definitely lost.  I am absolutely have no ideas about any insurance.  The current insurance that we got is hubby that makes the decision.

We got our medical card and personal insurance from a different agent. And I just got to know there is a kind of business insurance that we can get a quote online. This will be good for William’s business though.

For Rent or For Sale

Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009

It is almost half a year now our neighbour trying to sell her family home.  Her dad passed away and now she is alone that’s why she wanted to sell the house away soon.  She had 2 banners outside the gate with the agent telephone number and stated homes for rent or for sale.

The house is not able to sell because the asking price is too high and my neighbour is not willing to negotiate.  I wonder how long more before she willingly to drop the price. :|

Picnic at Forest Research Institute Malaysia

Monday, September 21st, 2009

It was Naomi’s first time going out for a picnic.  In fact, Jestine’s family, Loo’s family, Yap’s family, Raymond’s family and David first time to FRIM (Forest Research Institute Malaysia) for picnic too.

Upon arrival at the guard house/entrance, we will need to pay the entrance fee and then drove in all the way till’ the end.  That is the waterfall area.  We then unload all the things and look for a “cosy” corner.

We then simple set up the place and then make ourselves comfortable.  Picnic in the forest is nice with fresh air and away from noisy place.  Thank God for the good weather and wind!

Luncheon picnic we have curry chicken, fried noodles, roast ducks, roast chicken, custard cake, jellies and some crackers.

We were there since 11am until about 5pm.  It was a great place to chat and very spacious place for the kids to play and running around.  The kids have their time in the river catching fishes too! (before we go home, we pour back the fishes into the river).

After the picnic, everyone pop by our home to have durian feast and then dinner at the local Chinese restaurant.  Overall, we thank God for the fellowship and safe gathering.  We all are looking forward for the next picnic again!

Stephanie’s Note:
FRIM (Forest Research Institute Malaysia) entrance fee: RM4/car, RM1/head

Always practice to throw rubbish into the rubbish bin provided.  Clean the area that we used before we leave!  That way, everyone will preserve a clean place for picnic again. :)
