Remembering the old time in Melaka

15th days in Melaka

Early in the morning I got a shocked, I was enjoy my dream and suddenly there is a BIG shout ‘ARRK!’  I opened my eyes and see Naomi standing next to me and ready to go out the room to play.  Geez…it is only 8.30am!  So I thought since everyone is awake maybe we should go for breakfast.

We had really nice time together; we had wan tan mee, mee siam, toast bread, half boiled egg, milo and kopi o.

I remember the old days when I was little, we wake up early and bath cold water.  Then we will out for breakfast.  Dad will always order half boiled egg and pour the milo into a plate for me; the milo will be cooler when I drink it.

Today Naomi get to taste wan tan mee but not the half boiled egg and milo.  By the way, she is too young for half boiled egg and milo, right?

soft boil egg can be cracked into a milo??? won’t the milo taste strange then? cocoa, sugar and eggy??

err no no, is a separate order…eat egg then later drink milo.

Soft-boiled egg is not a good idea for Naomi because of the risk of Salmonella.

The only problem with Milo is the high sugar content. If she can eat roti with kaya, I think she can drink Milo lah, but if I were you, I will dilute the Milo with a lot of water so that it is less sweet.
