Body Burn Fitness Program Session 1
First day of the program, I am still full of excitement. I arrived at the fitness center at 6pm, the class only starts at 6.30pm.
Finally I get to meet my exercise partner and we both fill up our particulars so that our trainer Jodie will know more about us and also to make sure she is aware of any injuries that we had before.
We start with some cardio machines exercise with a slow walk on the Treadmills and Cross Trainer. Our trainer will make sure we do it right to prevent injuries. After that we did some basic Pilates, some stretching, weights and fitballs exercise.
I’ve learn to do the “pubic bone” exercise to build muscle and do the right kind of sit-up to prevent back injuries.
Overall, I am very impress with it because not only we are train to get fit but also Jodie will educate us the right way to do it and ensure safety first. Since it is our first day, everything we do, we do it moderately and according to our ability.
My exercise partner told me, she been to the gym more than 10 years, no one educate her on safety and the right way of doing it. She also says that even if you attend Aerobics class, the trainer will never check on you to make sure the position is right to prevent injuries.
So, this is what I want, FITNESS+EDUCATION.
Obviously, I am at the right place and with the right trainer.
I sweat so much and I am feeling good although having some soar thighs and soar shoulder.
The session finished at 7.30pm, after that we have a little chat about the fitness program, then talk about food and then Jodie shared with us some of her experience in Australia and the US. She says she love Malaysia! Hmmm…
Who is Jodie?
BODY BY DESIGN programs are designed by Jodie Nikolic, she is an Australian exercise Physiologist and Nutritionist who will oversee all the aspects of our training.
Jodie had over 23 years experience as a trainer, coach and nutritionist, working with people throughout Australia, The USA and Malaysia.
In conjunction with the specialist at Global Doctors, programs are based on science so that we can meet our fitness, nutrition and health goals.

Sounds like a really worthwhile course you have taken up!
When I was in Melbourne, there is a community gym which I joined. Although I didn’t sign up for personal training, there is a guy who works there who used to be the national cyclist for Australia.
He helped me develop a fitness program on my first visit and after that, every month or so, he will check on me to make sure I have upgraded my fitness regime. He is such a sincere coach, he did all these without expecting anything in return.
After all these years, I still appreciate his help very much.

What do u mean by pubic bone exercise? I think is pelvic bone right? Got pubic bone exercise one meh?
