Should I get a portable DVD or a laptop?

Last weekend hubby and I were searching for a portable DVD.  We searched a lot of places and found that Sony’s portable DVD is something that we want.  But then I saw some laptops too…

It will be nice if I can get a Hp Mini because according to a friend, it is so small that I can carry it everywhere and it is also suitable for me since that I’m a work from home mom and always on the move.
