Green, Blue or Pink?

September 5th, 2010

It is not easy to find a suitable colour for a Naomi’s room especially we don’t really know what is her favourite colour.

Previous post I was blogging about her wanting green colour, then later she wanted blue and lastly she chose pink for her room but later on she changed her mind again!

I don’t dare to choose for her because worry that she will not like it.  So hubby and some friends suggested letting Naomi choose from a few colours.

So we decided to let her choose 3 types of colour for her new room.  We showed her room with green colour, blue colour and then pink colour.

After asking her a few times for 2 days, she told us the same answer.  PINK.

So PINK it shall be for her room.

This is the photo that we showed her. PINK room.

Not Using Any Interior Designer

September 2nd, 2010

Moving to our own “nest” and having our own space is a dream come true for us.  Having a new home meaning more money will be needed for painting, water proofing all bathrooms, kitchen cabinet, kitchen appliances, wiring and more…

Simple and necessary renovation already cost a lot and work within the budget is tough!

We are not using any interior designer service that is why we spend a lot of time browsing on the net, magazines and showrooms to get ideas.  For example like last week we went to the tiles shop and bathroom accessories shop, we spend about 4 hours just to finalise the tiles design and finally we managed to purchase a kitchen sink and some faucets!

It is tiring but also fun for us as we are looking forward to our new home.

What colour for Naomi’s room?

September 1st, 2010

It is hard to select a right colour for Naomi’s new room.  Initially we selected violet but Naomi insisted green colour.  Then later on she change her mind to pink, then to blue and then to pink again.

What if I decide on behalf and later on she dislike it?

Gosh…gosh…it is hard to decide.

Hubby suggested that we let her see 3 colours and then let her decide.

What do you all think about this idea?
